Mitzvah Day is a concerted effort to bring Kol Hadash and North Shore Unitarian Church together, spending one day performing social justice projects/activities in the community.

Choose from our large variety of volunteer projects that cater to diverse interests, capabilities, and ages. Some projects you can do in-person at NSUC. Other projects are off-site (Greater Northern Illinois Food Bank, Bernie’s Book Bank). You can sign up for more than one project if the project is being held at NSUC!
