Narrated by Neil deGrasse Tyson, this documentary film explores food-related challenges we face globally, the critical role that science will play in addressing them, and the public perceptions and misperceptions involving the science of food.
Following the screening, we'll have a panel discussion with Katie Pratt, an Illinois-based farmer; Kavin Senapathy, a Madison, WI-based author and science communicator; and Joel P. Stafstrom, Associate Professor of Plant Science at Northern Illinois University.
A suggested donation of $5 at the door includes refreshments.
