Celebrate Sukkot with us in our congregational sukkah.
Sukkot Celebration and Potluck Dinner
North Shore Unitarian Church
Service at 4:00, Potluck Dinner at 5:00
At Kol Hadash our celebration begins outdoors, where we gather in and around our sukkah, sharing stories, singing songs and passing the lulav (bundle of 3 varieties of tree branches) and etrog (citron fruit). Then we move the festivities indoors, with a potluck dinner.
Families are encouraged to bring a seasonal fruit or vegetable (small pumpkin, gourds, dried corn, etc.) or art to hang on our sukkah. The younger children make additional decorations during the event at the Teen Youth Group-sponsored craft table.
All Kol Hadash members, friends and guests are welcome at our celebration! This is a fun event for Sunday School families and non-school families to gather together! We invite everyone to join us — no charge.
To register or for more information, please contact our administrator, Jeremy Owens, at info@KolHadash.com, or 847/383-5184.
