Purim Service & Celebration with Community Service Projects

ALL are welcome to join us for our Purim Service & Celebration!  Our service is led by Rabbi Adam Chalom at 10:30-11:00am, including a reading from our student-illustrated giant Megillah scroll.
Children and adults, come in costume!  After our service, we will have a costume parade to our Purim Celebration.
Our Purim Celebration is 11:00am-12:00pm and activities will include carnival games for children of all ages!  We will also have a Photo Booth, Face Painting and Make + Take Your Own Hamantaschen.
Community Service Activities!
In the spirit of giving, all-ages community service projects include making tissue-paper flowers and decorating placemats for the soup kitchen at St. James Church as well as making lunches for local homeless through PADS Lake County.
Hamantaschen Bake Off!
We are happy to have our 2nd Annual Hamantaschen Bake-Off!  Bake your own hamantaschen - a traditional favorite or a new creation -- and share with everyone.  A delicious way to celebrate Purim!  Follow this link to sign up to bring your hamantaschen for the Bake-Off!
Instead of event tickets, we are requesting donations of $15, $20 or $25 per family. Follow this link to Donate to our Purim Celebration! You can also contribute at the door.
Event Volunteers!
Adult volunteers are needed to help with event setup, supervising activity tables and cleanup. Follow this link to signup to help.
Charity Drive!
We are collecting towels and blankets for Orphans of the Storm.  Please look in your linen closet for towels and blankets that you are not using.  Your donation will help these orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected dogs or cats become healthy and placed in adoptive homes.
